Havertown Pizza, 2016 Darby Rd, Havertown, www.havertownpizza.com
One small cheese pizza, one small pepperoni, $14.73
Crust: This would have been really good if the thickness was even – it was really thin in some spots but thick at the back. Otherwise it was pretty good – crunchy and stable (not floppy).
Sauce: There was too much sauce and the toppings slid off easily, the taste wasn’t bad but not very spicy.
Cheese: Not bad, a bit undercooked.
Pepperoni: These were thin, not very spicy, and they were pretty chintzy on quantity.
Not bad, slightly better than average, but they lost points because of the thickness inconsistencies plus the toppings slid off.
