Cocco’s Pizza, 3401 Garrett Rd, http://www.coccopizza.com
One large pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni, $12.44
Crust: This was soft and floppy, and had an uneven thickness (thin in the middle, thick at the back), otherwise it was pretty good.
Sauce: There was very little sauce on the pie, but it wasn’t bad at all.
Cheese: Excellent, plenty of it with extra spices on top.
Pepperoni: There was a decent amount of them, but they were thin and not very spicy
You could call this Cocco’s Part Deux, as we already tried their small pies by accident back in Pizza Time #8. This was a definite improvement over the small pans but it was VERY greasy. The toppings also slid towards the middle of the pie so the “handle” was just a big piece of crust. Other than these annoyances it was actually pretty good.
