Bravo Pizza, 1345 West Chester Pike, www.bravopizzahavertown.org
One small cheese, one small pepperoni, $13.76
Crust: This was floppy and foldable but crisp, and pretty tasty.
Sauce: There was a tad too much sauce, which didn’t give the toppings a chance to “anchor” to the crust so it all slid off with the first bite. Otherwise it wasn’t bad; good spices and a bit on the sweet side, but was unevenly distributed across the pie.
Cheese: This was good, it was cooked well and there was enough of it – not too much, not too little.
Pepperoni: Oooh, there was puh-lenty of these! Some of the slices were doubled, as in two together, one on top of the other, but I don’t think that was deliberate. It was nice to get a bunch of them, though. They were extremely spicy, but maybe that was due to the extra number of them in every bite.
Both pizzas were on the salty side, but were not nearly as bad as Tony Roni’s, thankfully. Overall this was pretty good, although it could have been better if the toppings had stayed put.
